Recently I experienced issues with iWorks apps (Keynote, Numbers and Pages) synchronising across iOS devices and Macs. Even moving files out of iCloud Drive and re-uploading only one file, the issue persisted.
There is a solution to resolving this, however it may be possible that data will be lost if the following is carried out on older versions. The issue appears to be related to a synching failure with the files, to resolve this I opened each file and made a little change. Once completed I reactivated iCloud Drive across my iOS devices and all synchronised the files quickly.
The exact cause of this issue is unknown at the moment and I will continue to monitor to see if it occurs again.
Within iOS 8 Apple introduced the ability to access your Phone Favourites (on iPhone only) and Recent contacts (on all devices) to provide quick access from the App Switcher screen.
AirDrop between supported Macs and iOS devices has been fixed with iOS 8.1.
It looks like that with the release of iOS 8.1, iTunes WiFi sync has been fixed. Prior to 8.1 it was a hit and miss when trying to sync via WiFi and seemed to only work if you restarted your iOS device.
If you are a fan of syncing your devices with iTunes via WiFi, it is recommended you update your devices to iOS 8.1.
Recently I experienced an issue with utilising outlook.office365.com to access Office 365 mail from Outlook, Web (OWA) and iOS apps when on a particular internet connection. This only affected Apple devices and I had no issues with using Windows based computers on the affected network.
