Australian users may be wondering why they are unable to locate Google Search in the Internet Explorer add-ons to set as a default search provider. It would appear that if your language settings are set to Australia (English) that Microsoft has decided that Australians don't want to use Google as a search provider. It is easy to work around this and be able to choose and set Google as a default search provider in Internet Explorer.
The following solution will need to repeated each time you go into the Internet Explorer Gallery to add any new add-ons to Internet Explorer.
Once you are in the Internet Explorer Gallery, click onto Australia (English) (this is located in the top left hand corner of the Internet Explorer Gallery page) and then select either United States (English) or UK & Ireland (English). Once changed, the screen will refresh and you should be able to see Google Search available to be selected.
